A quote calculator that shows homeowners a price range before they call.
A branded estimator for your contractor website, built from pricing rules you approve. First niche: epoxy flooring and concrete coatings.
Scope and a fixed price are agreed in writing before any work starts. Prices are not listed on this site.
- What it is
- MonsiQuote is a fixed-scope service that builds a branded price-range estimator for a contractor's website.
- Who it is for
- Local contractors whose jobs can be priced by rules, starting with epoxy floors and concrete coatings.
- What it costs
- Prices are not published. Scope and a fixed price are agreed in writing before any work starts.
- Limits
- It gives a rough range, not a quote. The rules run in the visitor's browser, so they can be read. It has no live client examples yet.
How a homeowner sees it
Homeowners want a ballpark before they pick up the phone. A contact form gives them nothing back and gives you a vague enquiry. The estimator asks what you would ask on the phone, then shows a range built from your own rules.
Describe the floor
Area, type of space, coating system, current surface, cracks, and one optional add-on. Six questions at most.
See a range, not a promise
A low and a high figure from your rules, rounded outward, with your minimum job fee applied to small jobs.
Read the working
A line-by-line breakdown, the assumptions, what is not included, and a plain "not a binding quote" notice. An enquiry is optional and comes after.
Whether this brings you more or better enquiries is something you would measure after launch. I do not promise a result.

How a project runs
Short conversation
We check that your work suits an estimator: a repeatable job with prices you can write as rules.
Written scope and fixed price
Deliverables, exclusions, price and acceptance tests in writing. No work starts before that and the agreed first payment.
You supply the inputs
Pricing rules, minimum job fee, service area, logo and colour, website address, and where enquiries go.
Build and test
Your rules go into a versioned configuration, checked against sample jobs you have priced yourself.
Your review
A preview link and a short checklist. One consolidated round of changes is included.
Launch and handover
Install notes, a test enquiry to your inbox, a handover guide, and 30 days of defect fixes.
Who it is not for
- You want guaranteed leads, rankings or a promised return. I cannot control those.
- Every job is priced only after a site visit, with no rules you could write down.
- Your pricing formula must stay secret. The rules run in the visitor's browser, so anyone who looks at the page can read them. A server-side version is a different, larger project.
- You need a new website, a CRM, ad management or ongoing SEO. Those are separate services.
- You want unlimited changes for a fixed fee.
Questions
Is the estimate a quote?
No. It is a rough range with a clear notice that it is not a binding quote. You stay responsible for what you quote and deliver.
What does it cost?
It depends on scope, so I do not publish prices. Scope and a fixed price are agreed in writing before any work starts. Ask for a one-page scope and fee.
Do you have live client examples?
Not yet. This is a new service, which is why the demo uses clearly labelled fictional prices. The first projects are limited pilots with a narrow scope.
Where do the enquiries go?
To one destination you approve, such as your own inbox or a form account you own. The demo collects nothing.
Will it work on my website?
Usually it can be embedded with an iframe, but some site builders restrict that. The embedding guide lists the caveats.
Can you do it for another trade?
Possibly. Epoxy and concrete coatings are the first niche being tested. Other repeatable jobs, such as fencing or driveway sealing, may fit if the pricing can be written as rules.
